Sight Word: Pet Detective

In this one-time class, we will discover the Pre-Primer and Primer sight words I, Is, A, My, This & Am. We will use multi-sensory learning styles to review the words nine times in this single lesson through writing, speaking, and reading. This class is 25 minutes long and we will work our way through a set of clues to discover what the mystery pet is. Clues are structured as follows: 1. I live in the water 2. I have a fin 3. I am gold... Goldfish! This class is interactive and I encourage your students to engage so they are excited about learning. This class also has printable at-home worksheets you can print to have your learner continue to master these words after our class time is concluded. These worksheets include flashcards, handwriting practice, and a coloring page for each mystery pet we discover. You are encouraged to print as many copies as you need while your learner is mastering this set of words. In addition to the lesson, your learner will have the opportunity to engage with other learners by sharing their favorite pet.
