In our fourth unit we will learn to read: in, you, do, am, and ball. We will practice recognizing, spelling, and writing the words. We will review: the, I, see, a, cat, is, this, me, my, dog, we, like, and, at, and pig. We will use flashcards, a game, and an emergent reader to practice the words. Students will be given materials to practice the words at home. This class is for beginning readers who know their letters and are ready to learn some words! You do not have to have attended...
Students will be able to recognize on sight the words: in, you, do, am, and ball. Students will practice spelling the words: in, you, do, am, and ball. Students will practice writing the words: in, you, do, am, and ball. Students will review previously learned words: the, I, see, a, cat, is, this, me, my, dog, we, like, and, at, and pig. Students will participate in reading an emergent reader using some of their new sight words.
Students will be given materials they can print and use at home for additional practice with these words.
