Whether your learner is a singer or an instrumentalist, an amateur musician or an advanced sight-singer preparing for college auditions, private sight singing and ear training lessons are a great way to build musicianship skills!
Class experience
This is an ongoing private lesson class for singers, instrumentalists, composers/songwriters, or anyone else with a passion for music who wants to build musicianship skills with sight singing and ear training lessons! Lessons are guided by the learner’s ability level and personal goals. I typically begin lessons with quick body, voice, and breathing warm-ups that help prepare students for healthy, in-tune singing. We will also sing through a quick solfege* tendency drill that I use to train...

Learning objectives will be learner directed and will vary depending on the student's individual needs and goals.
Homework Offered
For best results, it is recommended that students practice the skills covered during lessons for at least 10 minutes per day, 4 days a week. Specific homework assignments may be decided and assigned in collaboration with the student.0 - 1 hours per week outside of class
Assessments Offered
