This is a welcoming and low-pressure art space designed especially for shy and nonverbal kids. Students can create art at their own pace while listening to calming music, without the pressure to speak. They are welcome to communicate through chat, share their artwork, and connect in a way that feels comfortable. This club is especially meaningful to me because my sister, who I run an art business with, was nonverbal as a child. Art became a powerful way for us to connect, and she has always been an incredible artist who inspired me to start creating. I want to provide that same kind of space for kids to express themselves and build confidence through art.

Supply List
Medium of Choice: Choose your preferred art supplies: Watercolor Paints and brushes, with watercolor paper. Acrylic Paints and brushes, along with a canvas or acrylic paper. Digital Art: A tablet or computer with art software. Colored Pencils/Pens and a sketchbook (if you prefer drawing). Optional: A comfortable space, relaxing materials (blankets, pillows, etc.), and anything that helps you feel comfortable and inspired.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
