In this class, students will be taught to share in front of their classmates. They will learn to have a book discussion. We will cover communication, presentation, and summarizing a book. My class will be structured by me talking and sharing a favorite book. Then each child will have a chance to share their favorite book. The children listening will have specific notes to take as other children share. After each child shares, students will raise their hands and ask one question from their notes. Each child will get to discuss and each child will get to share. My teaching style is a fun and hands on style. I really like to get to know my students and really have fun in class. I like to make them laugh and enjoy books. No required experience for this class. Just bring a book you love, bring a notebook and pencil, and please bring a smile!
