Description
Class Experience
In this course, we will practice vocabulary, taking turns, speaking in front of peers, describing an object, and manners such as please and thank you. Students will be asked to bring their favorite toy to the class. Before we begin sharing, we will go over the expectations of show and tell. We will discuss positive things we can say to one another about items. We will discuss waiting for our turn to talk about our item. I will go first and allow students to practice their manners and turn...
This class is taught in English.
Students will learn how to take turns, speak in front of peers, and use language to describe an object.
I am a certified elementary school teacher.
Students will need to bring an item or items to share.
25 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
Please make sure learners are bringing appropriate items to show and tell.
