Students will learn the history behind our system of currency, why we have paper money, and how our money and history )from the Revolutionary War to the Civil War) impacted each other. Students will learn about anti-counterfeiting measures on our dollar bills. Students will learn about the people and places on each of our dollar bills from $1 to $100. (George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, Thomas Jefferson, Andrew Jackson, Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant, White House, Capitol Building, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, and Washington Monument)
