We all have something special to share and contribute, and we can learn so much from others! In this class we will take turns showing and telling about our own items as well as listening and asking questions about the items other students bring to class. This class is great for kids to have an opportunity to learn and practice social skills and turn taking. If you have a reluctant talker, this class can help get them comfortable sharing. I love helping kids feel good about themselves, and giving them the opportunity to share something special is a good way to do that. With my two children on the autism spectrum, I have had lots of practice modeling and encouraging behaviors like asking questions and expressing interest in others.
Bring something special to class that you want to share with others. Here are some ideas: your rock (or any kind of) collection, your pet, a drawing you made, a special stuffed animal.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
