Show and Tell: Your Pet's Cool Trick!
In this on time class, students will be able to practice their social skills by showing Ms. Lorinda and the other students what tricks their dog, cat, bunny, or other pet can do, either live in class or by showing a recording.

In this one time class, learners will have the opportunity to introduce themselves, their pet, and then have their pet perform some tricks live during the class, or show a pre-recorded video of their pet performing the trick, which can be as simple as holding their camera screen up to their device they are using to take the class. There will be time for positive feedback about their trick, and/or questions about how they taught the trick to their pet. In this class, I will encourage the students to remember to face the camera when speaking, introduce themselves, introduce their pet, and share one fun fact about themselves or their pet.
Learning Goals
In a low pressure environment, the learner will have the opportunity to practice speaking publicly, attentive listening, taking turns, commenting on other learner's tricks, and have time to socially interact.

Supply List
Please have your pet and any materials needed for the trick ready and close by at the beginning of class. If you would like to request going first or last for any reason, please send me a message in advance letting me know. I will try to accommodate special requests. Thank you!

Hello, everyone! I’m Ms. Lorinda.
I have classes listed for learners between 3 to 11 years old and will hold class with a minimum of one enrolled learner. I hold animal themed story time classes, which include a craft project, as well as show & tell classes. I also have 1:1 private story time classes for 3-5 year old learners where, in the ongoing option, I can tailor the lessons for each learner.
I have experience teaching my children at home, as well as teaching preschool music classes and substituting for teachers and paraprofessionals in public schools. I like to connect with my learners through a common love of animals while creating a fun and relaxing learning environment.
