In this one time class, students will take turns sharing about their real or stuffed animals, and there will be social interaction time as they will be encouraged to ask questions to the presenter and answer questions after they present!

I will begin the class by sharing about one of my pets. Then, with all other mics muted, the students will take turns sharing about their pets, either real or stuffed. There will be a question and answer time at the end of each student's sharing time where the students are able to converse with each other. This class will help students practice taking turns, public speaking, conversation skills, and listening. Students that don't want to share are welcome to attend and participate by listening and asking questions of those that are sharing about their pets.
Learning Goals
Students will have the opportunity to practice taking turns, speaking publicly, back and forth conversation skills, and attentive listening.

Supply List
Please have your pet, or stuffed animal, ready and nearby at the beginning of class. If you would like to request going first for any reason, please send me a message from the classroom page as far in advance as possible letting me know your special request and the reason why. I will try to accommodate special requests, if I am able.
External Resources
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

My name is Mrs. Laura. I have a bachelors degree in Elementary Education. I have spent 2 years as a public school teacher in 3rd and 4th grade. I taught all subjects!
