US Grade Preschool - Kindergarten
In this class, students will get the opportunity to share with their peers their favorite stuffed animal friend. As the teacher, I will model first by showing the class my favorite friend, and explain why he is my favorite friend, what I like to do with him/her, and my favorite thing to do with him/her. Students will be encouraged to ask me any questions as well a their peers questions about their stuffed animal. While one student is sharing, the rest of the class will listen with their microphones on mute. This class will allow students with a great platform to practice their oral language skills in an informal setting. I always believe that students who are excited about a topic will be interested and eager to learn more, so by including a special friend from the comfort of their home, will hopefully allow students to interact well with each other. Each class I will present a new stuffed friend, so please feel free to come back and join me more than once!
Learning Goals
Students will be able to practice their oral language skills while describing their favorite stuffed friend. Oral language is a key aspect in the development of literacy skills needed in early childhood education.

👩🏼🏫My Philosophy:
It is my philosophy that teaching should always be done in an environment that is healthy, educational, and most importantly safe. I believe that students thrive when they feel the most comfortable, and by transforming learning into fun activities, it allows students to gain a better understanding on a topic whether they realize it or not! It gives me such pride at the end of each school year when they can showcase their learning talents to their parents! I am excited to meet new students and provide the same type of love and enthusiasm to help reach their highest potentials!
