Class Experience

At ages 3-8, Show and Tell should reflect their growing abilities to use language, ask questions, and understand others.
The following strategies can help children learn through Show and Tell:
I will share my stuffed pet with children.
I let each learner ask me a question about my pet.
I interact with each child asking simple questions about their pet.
I encourage children to ask each other questions.
I encourage them to use exciting words or adjectives to describe their pet.
We finish the class with Shaking Our Sillies out with a Song!
Learning Goals
Early childhood education often includes show and tell as part of a group-time curriculum.
Because it helps:
*children build language skills
*develop their social-emotional skills
*increases their confidence.
*practice critical thinking
