In this one-time course, students will get up and moving to find scavenger hunt items around their house! This will be followed up by showing and telling about what we found!
Class experience
This class is all about getting up and moving while having fun socializing too! This is a show and tell class with a scavenger hunt twist! I will give the learners a category of something to find - ex: something blue, something rectangle, something you like to eat, etc. They will then have 1 - 2 minutes to go find something in their house that matches that category! Once they find their item, they will come back to the screen and wait for everyone to be back. Then we will take turns showing...
Students will use critical thinking skills as they find something in their house that fits the category given. Students will also utilize many different social skills: following directions, taking turns and listening respectfully while others talk. Students will also use communication skills as they tell the class about the item they found. Most importantly, they will have fun!
