In this super fun class, learners will get to meet other learners' pets and introduce their own! Each student should bring their pet to class - any animal (even a stuffed animal) is allowed (as long as it is legal to own). Each student will get at least 5 minutes to talk about their pet and answer any questions from their classmates and teacher. I am a very laid-back teacher and enjoy having fun, while still seeing each student as an individual and valuing respect for all participants. I start off my classes by going over basic rules and then doing introductions. After that, we jump right into our activity! This class is a great way to get students more comfortable speaking in front of others (it could even be a very easy introduction to what public speaking feels like). It will also give students a chance to practice both listening respectfully to classmates and asking appropriate questions of their classmates. *Accommodations can and will be made for students with special needs.
