Class Experience
In this class the student will learn the skills needed for public speaking. Students will learn to be an active listener as well as an active speaker. Come to class with your favorite toy and present three things you like about your toy. Some ideas would be 1) Where you got your toy 2) What you like about it 3) What do you like to do with it. If the student would like to add anything else he or she is welcome to. After one student presents each student will have a chance to ask any questions...
Students will improve on public speaking skills as well as being an active listener. Students will also learn to take turns speaking and presenting as well as preparing ideas to share in class. This on-going class allows the students to keep practicing and improving on their skills each week.
