I have been an educator for over 30 years. During this time, I have taught social skills to children in grades K-5 countless times using a show-and-tell format.
The learners will need to gather an item that meets the theme of the week before class begins.
The learners will need an item that meets the theme of the week each week. The theme will be posted on the classroom page. Buying additional items for this class is not necessary.
Learners will be assessed informally throughout the class based upon participation and following the class rules.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
The learners will be determining what items they choose to share with the class. They may bring items that may be upsetting or scary to other learners.
There are no outside sources being used for this class. Students will need to bring items that meet the theme of the week.
