Class Experience

Pets can play a pretty significant role in our life. They make us laugh and smile with their silly antics. They teach us responsibility and compassion. They are there for us in our happiest times and there for us in our sadness and sorrow too. Our animal friends play many roles in our life from creatures we admire to companion and service animals helping us to navigate our world. 

This class is learner directed and a wonderful opportunity to for learners to show off their furry, feathery, or...

Learners will explore that animals play different roles in our life,  how unique each animal is and yet how connected we all are while fostering a love of living creatures.

I love teaching classes that are meaningful to children and as a young girl I don't think there was anything more meaningful to me than my furry friends. This class is about acknowledging and growing our love of living things.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

40 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 0 - 1 hours per week outside of class.

Kids may occasionally watch a YouTube or other education video about animals. Videos are not frequent but may be used.
