Description

Class Experience

In this ongoing course, children will practice communication skills as they describe their items and converse with their peers. Each child will get a turn to speak and I will help guide the students as they take turns. This class meets once per week and allows students the opportunity to share something with the class that is related to the theme of the week.

Children are encouraged...

Students will learn to recognize their own feelings and express them appropriately. Students will develop self-direction and independence. Students will learn to recognize the feelings of others and respond appropriately. Students will share and respect the rights of others. Students will express themselves using words and expanded sentences. Students will ask and answer questions and actively participate in conversations.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

45 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
