Description
Class Experience
By the course, students will be able to decode and read CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words such as man, fig, nut, pod, or bed.
For several years, Miss Raz was a reading specialist at a Title 1 public school. As a Title 1 reading specialist, Miss Raz used Orton-Gillingham techniques to teach students who were reading below grade level. Miss Raz believes in a multi-sensory, hands-on approach to teaching phonics.
Independent reading activities will be posted in the classroom after each class.
1 file available upon enrollmentLetter Tiles, to be cut out before class, will be provided in the classroom. Writing Tool and Paper, or Whiteboard and Marker
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
