In this class students will interact with Ms. Stephanie and other students to discover different types of lines. This 30 minute class will open with big smiles and a warm welcome! Students will be introduced to artist Paul Klee and will observe and identify a variety of types of lines in his art works. To add an element of fun and movement students will be invited to stand to learn a song and dance to help them remember 3 types of lines before creating a visual art piece using construction...
Students will be able to identify vertical, horizontal and diagonal lines. Students may be able to name 1-2 additional types of lines.
1/2" -1” strips of brightly colored construction paper, scrapbooking, wrapping, magazine papers or card stock scissors glue sticks 1 sheet of black construction paper
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
