In this Creative Writing class learners will learn about one of the 5 parts of a story as well as a writing tip to improve their writing via a recorded lecture by the teacher. After watching the video they will write part of a story based on a writing prompt, which build on each other to make a completed story. Any and all genres are welcome. Homework Offered
Learners will be given an assignment to write for their story, there is no word count assigned each week, but they should write approximately between 300 and 1,500 each week. Each week they should post either the text of their story or the link to their story in the classroom for other learners to read and give feedback. They should take time to read the other stories and write constructive feedback on them. In giving feedback learners will work together to help each other complete their stories.2 - 4 hours per week outside of class

Learners are asked but not required to use Google Docs to share their stories in the classroom.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
