This is a Flex Course in French for Grade 4 and up students. Students will enjoy learning story elements (character, environment, trigger, actions, etc.) while practicing their writing skills in French. Each week the students will be asked to complete a short newspaper article to practice the Who ?, Where ?, When ?, With Who ? and What ? writing an initial situation narrative type inspired by story trigger shared in the classroom forum (about 8-10 sentences). Passionate about writing and always looking to express my creativity through writing, drawing and painting, I want to share my passions with my students. I am a formal language teacher, an author for children stories and a future educational engineer. My teaching experiences will be very helpful to your child as well.
Each week, your child will have a writing assignment to complete (PDF shared in the forum). You will receive the instructions on Sundays of each week.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will receive instructions for the final writing evaluation (a serie of 4 short stories in French) that should be completed and shared with me before the end of the mentioned date. Students will be invited to provide a (homemade video or an audio recording) of their short storytelling in the classroom forum.
