This is an introductory course for beginning readers learning vowel sounds. We will be learning the short o sound with the “-ot”, “-op”, “-og”, and “-ob” word families. When learning the short e sound, the students will be learning and practicing the word families several different ways. I have tutored reading for over 6 years. I have a Reading Endorsement from K-12th grade.
1 file available upon enrollmentDaily materials: Crayons, paper, pencil Day 3 Play-doh or clay There will be sentence frame pages if you want to print and use. Otherwise students can write their sentences on normal paper. They will need one for each day.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
2 hours 20 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
