This is a one-time class. We will practice blending beginning sounds with short "e" ending chunks (e.g., b-eg, t-en, m-en) and beginning-level sight words!

Class Experience

Students will learn to use phoneme sounds to blend, segment, and manipulate these units of sounds to fluently read and create consonant-vowel-consonant (CVC) words.

Students will practice identifying beginning-level sight words.

Students will practice reading a text incorporating the practiced CVC words and beginning-level sight words.
Optional homework will be available for learning enrichment for you and your child to practice at home.
 1 file available upon enrollment
1) Dry Erase Board/ Marker (preferred) or Paper/ Pencil 2) If possible, please print the attached worksheet prior to class. (optional)
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Attached worksheet activity...This will be for the parent(s) to have a record of what his/ her child is mastering and not mastering.
25 minutes per week in class, and an estimated 4+ hours per week outside of class.
