Welcome to the world of SHOELACES! Tying and lacing shoes can be tough… and there are many reasons for this! Sometimes, our fingers aren’t able to manipulate shoelaces, and some basic fine motor strengthening activities can make a big difference. Other times, it’s just hard for kids to see where exactly to put each shoelace. Many time, our kids aren’t given the opportunity to tie, as parents sometimes settle for Velcro shoes since it’s “easier” for the time being. Whatever the reason -...

Students will feel confident tying and lacing their shoelaces.
One shoe that has longer shoelaces in good condition. I suggest starting with an adult shoe with stiff laces.
