In this one time class, students will learn the basics to tie their own shoes. This is a life skill that takes time and practice after class, but we will have fun learning bunny ears and loop-de-loops! Students will learn with hands on experience using their own shoes, and we will interact as a whole class and individually. We will practice independently and ask questions as needed. **Parents/Adults: Please know that your child may need extra guidance from you during class if they get "stuck" or frustrated and need "hands on" assistance. I tell students they aren't going to be a "master" of this skill in just one lesson, so please encourage them to keep trying and practice makes perfect! Image by congerdesign from Pixabay

I have been a teacher for over a decade and I love teaching life skills that help a learner grow outside of a classroom! I have 3 young boys under the age of 5 so we practice a lot of life skills!
