Specific goals for this class include: developing self-regulation and emotional intelligence; increasing strength and flexibility; enhanced imagination and creativity; improving motor function; strengthening spatial and body awareness; and increasing self-confidence and sense of worth. Miss Zoë is a dance and movement teacher from the US with a bachelor’s degree from The University of North Carolina, child development and early childhood education training, formal dance training, and collegiate athletic experience. She has four years of in-person, preschool teaching experience, as well as a professional background in dance, ballet, and gymnastics instruction. No yoga equipment or attire is required for this class. A yoga mat or soft surface is suggested but not required. Students should have enough space to stretch and move comfortably, comfortable attire for movement, and a beverage to stay hydrated during class. For specific questions, send Miss Zoë a message.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Parental guidance is not required for this class; however, parents should be advised that physical activities such as yoga can cause injury. Please make sure students have appropriate space and attire to ensure safety during instruction. Younger learners may need help navigating the ZOOM platform. Please familiarize your learner with the mute/ unmute feature if you are unable to assist them during class time.
