Description
Class Experience
Students will have the opportunity to work with a professional actor and drama teacher, learning the important techniques involved in monologue/scene work and acting. Class will consist of drama games and warm ups to get our energy flowing, followed by an exploration of a specific monologue or scene - which students can either bring or be assigned. Students will gain skills and confidence in acting by analyzing and performing monologues!
I have been training and performing in theatre for over 15 years. I have worked with youth ages 4-18 years old, with roughly 8 years of experience specifically teaching the dramatic arts. I am a professional actor and drama teacher.
If possible, students can bring a monologue to work on together.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
