Class Experience

As a teacher and author, I know how important it is to exude confidence when speaking, whether speaking in front of a group of people, meeting a prospective employer for a job interview, or interacting socially with peers. I've spoken to hundreds of students and adults multiple times about being an author. Students will gain confidence while practicing public speaking, incorporating tips taught by the teacher.

I am the published author of over 25 books for children and have sold over 20000 copies on Amazon since 2012. Book series include BE THE VET, EVIE AND THE VOLUNTEERS, HAZEL: THE CLINIC CAT, NILES AND BRADFORD, CLARA AND TUNI, AND THIRD GRADE OUTSIDER. I give school talks to students about the writing process and encourage the following of one's passions and commitment to hard work despite setbacks. I hope to foster a love of learning and to help students to find joy in their writing.
