In this 3-week class, have a blast building strength and agility, playing games, and learning to be mindful! No weights necessary. All fitness levels welcome! Shine from the inside out!

Description

Class Experience

Learners will learn:

-The importance of warm-up and cool-down activities on athletic performance
-How to participate in fitness games and practice good sportsmanship
-How to perform exercises with proper form
-The importance of having grit and a growth mindset - We can do hard things! 
-How to socialize with peers appropriately
-How to participate in short mindfulness activities and bring "their calm" to the rest of their day
There is no traditional homework for this course. However, I recommend your child:

-Hydrates after class
-Stretches as needed
-Teaches someone at home something they learned today!
-Water bottle -Open space -Towel to wipe sweat if needed -Optional: Whiteboard/marker or paper/pencil to track rounds completed of workout -Optional: Yoga mat
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
To ensure safety, please make sure your child has an open space to exercise, a water bottle and proper footwear. 

Parental guidance is suggested to ensure your child is hydrating and taking breaks when necessary. However, I will make sure we are all listening to our bodies and doing what feels right for each of us!
