In this class, students will take turns sharing good things from their lives. This can include fun activities, new pets, what they are learning, new shoes, and/or anything exciting that they want to share. This class creates opportunities for students to practice and apply social and emotional learning (SEL). Sharing good things with peers promotes a strong sense of self, communication, community, and respect for others. This class creates space to express ideas and learn from others. This class is great for all students, including English learner learners who want to practice communication, active listening, and boost confidence. The teacher will facilitate the discussion using open-ended questions as prompts.
