This is a 2 week course were you can create 2 pieces of art that explores complementary colors, scratching line technique and creating a shimmering finish to capture a frosty winter composition.

Students will have a chance to create in-class with the instructor, who will answer questions and offer feedback. We will utilize the class web page were there will be additional resources, a place to post questions between classes, and upload images of your work to share with the rest of class. Before class begins students will have access to pre-instructional content: Materials list, care and use of materials, and vocabulary. At the end of the course, students will have gained the following knowledge: • Proper use and care of acrylic paints and tools • Use the color wheel for inspirations • Scratching lines technique to create a composition • To create additional works of art
