Even though sharks are one of the coolest animals on Earth, they are also one of the most misunderstood. In this one-time class, students will learn the basics of the shark world including how they hunt, what they eat, and some interesting facts. This class is a general overview of sharks but does not go into advanced discussions. Therefore, this class is not necessarily geared towards students who already have advanced knowledge of sharks. Learners will learn things such as how sharks hunt, what they eat, what senses they have, and other interesting facts.
I have a strong passion for animals and have even worked at an aquarium before. I love getting others excited about the animal kingdom and feel as though I can approach this topic with a lot of fun and excitement for the learners.
I will provide an (optional) handout that students can use for note taking if they would like to.
