Sharks: Featuring the Megalodon, the Great White, and the Bull Shark!
Join me as we learn all about the Megalodon, the very misunderstood Great White, and the Bull Shark! Could the Meg be hiding down in the Mariana Trench, or did it really eat itself into extinction? Was the Meg really as big as Hollywood makes it seem? Let's find out! Don't forget to bring any shark teeth you may have!

This class will explore three sharks in detail: the Megalodon, the Great White, and the Bull Shark. We will explore their habitats, diet, lifestyle, hunting techniques, reproduction, why the Meg went extinct, and much more! We will also discuss the role the media plays when it comes to the unfair reputation sharks have been given. My teaching style is energetic and engaging, and I aim to teach in a way that will help your child remember what they have learned, so that they, in turn, can...
Learners will be able to explain the main differences between these three large sharks, including (but not limited to) their day to day lives, which one went extinct, which one is threatened, and which one is the most dangerous. Your child will be able to share what they have learned with you afterwards, and who knows, you may learn something you never knew before!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
