In this program, we are going to learn about some of the most the fascinating animals in the Ocean, they are also some of the most misunderstood. In this multi-day class, students will learn the basics of these animals including how they hunt, what is their behavior and language, what is their role in the ecosystem and some interesting facts. We will engage in an ocean project: create our own shark, its language and behavior! We will meet two times a week for 4 weeks. During the course, each student will create their own shark, its language and behavior based on what they learn, covering properties such as body structure, adaptations to their environment, and their own imagination. They will get to present their shark to class. My classes offer a unique opportunity to participate asking or answering questions and discussing different topics that we will see in each class. Participation is optional and students can use the chat too. My classes are designed to encourage student engagement and follow their curiosity. There are no prerequisites for this class.
