Recognition of numbers supports the development of other number skills such as counting, identifying, writing numbers and adding sets together. In this class students will count, identify, write numbers and begin to add sets of objects together to begin learning the skill of addition. These skills are the foundation to early math success. 1 file available upon enrollmentIn this class students will need: something to write on something to write with attached Shark Attack 2 printable game markers (I will be using pom poms but you can markers out of paper or using other games pieces) dice - you will need two for this game (optional) Teacher Tip: If you chose to have your child use dice, you may want to place the dice in a plastic container (I use a zip lock food container) so that the dice will stay in your child's learning space.
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
30 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
