Welcome all learners to this ongoing class. This is a fun class where learners can share their favourite toys, books, idea, or thoughts! This is a small group setting to ensure all students have many opportunities to speak.

This is an ongoing class where learners will improve their English by conversing with me and their peers. We will practice speaking by talking about themselves, their interests, what they have planned for the day or week. I will ensure the conversation flows by using prompting, props, and games. Bring your favourite toys, books, drawings, or ideas! Let's talk about it! This is a small group setting which will allow the more shy students to gain confidence. I will encourage learners to use full sentences and will correct pronunciation as needed, using positive praise. Let's learn together in a fun, positive environment! Learners are welcome to join the class at anytime, as often as they like.

Hi fellow learners and caregivers! I am Sarah (you can call me Sarah, Ms Sarah, Teacher). I'm a pretty easygoing, fun teacher. I have been teaching in some form or another since 1999. That is when I graduated University with a degree in Biology. My approach to teaching is much like how I live my life. I am open to all ideas even if they differ from mine. Learning is such an individual experience. I am polite and mindful of others. All learners are welcome in my classroom!
I like to teach online ESL classes, Science and Nature, Preschool circle time classes and more! Interested in something I don't teach, just ask!
An interesting fact about me is that I have a Cabbage Patch Kid Collection. I also really like toys of all kinds. I guess I am a kid at heart. I also love to knit, crochet, and sew. I also love to make my own waldorf type dolls (Polly Dolly) , and cute stuffed animals (Luna Lapins). I am married with 3 children, all of whom speak French, except me! I am starting to take my own lessons! Learning never stops. We have many pets, you can ask me about them!
