Students will be learning the first few basic shapes: square, circle, rectangle, and triangle. If time permits, we will learn a few other shapes. Students will also learn to identify each shape alone and in a real-world setting. They will be able to identify the number of sides each shape has and how to create each shape in different ways. During the class, students will sing about each shape; build each shape with play-doh,' and search around the house for objects that resemble each shape. ...
