Class Experience

Dive into the newest film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe:  Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings!

In this one-time class, students will learn how to analyze story structure by dissecting this new film.  This course is part English class, part fan club.  

Before class, students will watch the movie and fill out the provided Marvel Movie Review worksheet.

Students will share their thoughts on the characters and their motivations, the theme, and the plot of the story.  This course is a...

Before class, students are expected to have watched the movie and filled out the provided film review worksheet to ensure that they are prepared for the discussion.

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

50 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

All of Marvel Studio's movies are rated PG-13, which means parental guidance is suggested up to the age of 13 years.  Adults should use discretion when deciding whether the movies that will be discussed are appropriate for their learners.
