Beginner Level
In this engaging storytelling class, young learners will explore Shakespeare’s world through four exciting tales: a comedy, a fantasy, a magical adventure, and a historical legend. We’ll begin with a fun, age-appropriate introduction to who Shakespeare was and why his stories are like fairy tales. The class is structured as a guided storytelling experience with lively narration, vivid descriptions, and interactive discussion. There is no required reading or acting—instead, learners will listen, imagine, and share their thoughts through guided prompts. We’ll explore silly Shakespearean words, ask “what if?” questions, and make connections between his plays and modern stories. My teaching style is engaging, playful, and adaptive to different learning styles. I encourage participation at each child’s comfort level, whether through discussion or simply listening. The class includes storytelling, open-ended questions, and interactive elements to spark imagination and curiosity about Shakespeare’s magical world.
