In this 12 week course, we will study the play Romeo and Juliet written by William Shakespeare through reading, discussing, writing, and memorization.
Class experience
In this semester long class, learners will learn about the play Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare. Find out why this is not a love story, but a cautionary tale. This class will get students thinking about their place in the world, the fact that they have a voice and an opinion, and help them to learn from reading about other people's decisions and ponder what they would do in do in a similar situation. Students will learn to read and analyze Shakespeare's writing. They will also learn to evaluate human behavior in writing and history, and see how it applies to their lives. They will also be able to create and articulate their own opinion on what they have analyzed and evaluated.
I was trained to teach the Shakespeare Conquest class by the Leadership Education Mentoring Institute. I was an assistant in the class the first two years, and then I taught for the following two years. This is just one part of this class since it works better on the online platform.
Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare Cliff's Complete version, and a planner or notebook paper for writing down notes, or assignments.

Shakespeare's writing can have some mature content. The play Romeo and Juliet does contain blood, and violence.
Romeo and Juliet written by Shakespeare should also be obtained by each family. The Cliff's Complete (not Cliff's Notes) is recommended.
