This class will explore Shakespeare's play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. This class will be a part of a series of multi-day courses. Each will cover a different Shakespearean play. This class will explore the historical background and style of theatre in Elizabethan England, as well as the literary elements found in the plays. Students will learn how plays were constructed in Elizabethan England, as well as exploring the literary features of this play.
I have a master's degree from the University of Cambridge and 17 years of teaching experience. I am an AP approved teacher in AP literature and world history.

At times literature involves themes such as violence or racism. Parental guidance is suggested for any themes to meet the maturity level of their own learners. Sensitive topics will be handled with care, and the family support of parents is requested.
