In this weekly club, we will create a new makeup look to fit a given theme every week! From fantasy looks, historical styles, glamorous beats, and abstract designs Learners will have the opportunity to ask questions, suggest their own techniques, and explore their artistic abilities. Learners will gain confidence in their makeup skills, learn new techniques, and the origins of certain styles throughout history and cultures.
I am a professional performer and through my training and experience, I have come to study and love the art of makeup. I've taught multiple classes in theatrical and special effects makeup, and have developed makeup designs specifically for a character company that specializes in children's birthday parties.
Learners are encouraged to work with what materials they have! But a basic makeup supply would include: Foundation and concealer in their skin tone (Powder styles recommended for Learners with oily skin, liquid styles for Learners with dry skin) Contour (in appropriate skin tone) Highlight (in appropriate skin tone) Mascara Eyeshadow palette Eyebrow pencil (a shade darker than hair color) Brow comb Various sized makeup brushes Makeup application sponges If you have any questions about supplies please feel free to reach out!
1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
