Class experience
In this colorful one-time class, we'll work step-by-step to master a full face SFX look! Class will begin with a brief study of cartoon contouring and fine line detailing. We will then work through each step of the makeup application together, with the instructor providing live tutorial and feedback. By the end of class, we’ll all look like we stepped straight off the page. A structured notes page and access to tutorial guides ensure this SFX technique is learned for life! Ready to add...
Supplies needed for this class are as follows: -Color paints (water-activated facepaint or cream recommended)(Instructor uses and recommends Snazaroo - www.snazaroo.com/us/) -Brushes (thin) -Sponge Applicators -Pencil (with eraser - to be used as a paint tool) Supplies to have on hand: -Makeup wipes / soap -Paper towels / old towels For questions or recommendations, please don't hesitate to reach out!
Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Please note, this class does NOT involve wound makeup (no blood here!).
A structured notes guide will be provided should students wish to take notes. Both a print-friendly and digital copy will be provided, but the use of this guide is not required. Students will also be provided a tutorial guide following class to use in further practice.
