This course will cover 5 special effects makeup techniques, but students are welcome and encouraged to experiment with their kits between classes! Each class will...

A full list of the supplies used in this course are as follows:
  -Foundation (cream recommended) 
  -Highlight & Shadow (cream recommended) 
  -Color paints (water-activated facepaint or cream recommended)
  -Brushes (thin)
  -Sponge Applicators

Supplies to have on hand:
  -Makeup wipes / soap
  -Paper towels / old towels

A structured notes guide will be provided each week should students wish to take notes. Both a print-friendly and digital copy will be provided, but the use of this guide is not required.

For questions or recommendations,  please don't hesitate to reach out!

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.

1 hour per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.

Please note, this course does NOT involve wound makeup (no blood here!).

We will do a safety test before using any materials for the first time, but as with any makeup product, please be conscious of possible allergy issues.
