Class experience
In this one time class students will use a sewing machine to sew their own cloth scrunchies for personal use. Students will need some basic skills in cutting, pinning, threading a needle and sewing machine use. I will provide a pattern for students to use to pin and cut their fabrics. I will show how to measure and cut their fabric and elastic. We will then sew our fabrics with our elastic, and make our scrunchies. *1/4 yard of fabric of students choice 1 pack of 3/4 in or 1/2 in elastic 1 spool/bobbin of thread of students choice to match their fabric (white is pretty standard)
As students will be using needles/scissors parents should be close by for safety.
