Class Experience
In this one time class students will use a sewing machine to sew their own cloth scrunchies for personal use. Students will need some basic skills in cutting, pinning, threading a needle and sewing machine use. I will provide a pattern for students to use to pin and cut their fabrics. I will show how to measure and cut their fabric and elastic. We will then sew our fabrics with our elastic, and make our scrunchies. Students should use a fabric that doesn't fray a lot and has a little...
*1/4 yard of fabric of students choice 1 pack of 3/4 in or 1/2 in elastic 1 spool/bobbin of thread of students choice to match their fabric (white is pretty standard)
55 minutes per week in class, and maybe some time outside of class.
As students will be using needles/scissors parents should be close by for safety.
