Class Experience

We will meet one time a week.
Each week, the instructor will show a new project. Learners will then begin their project. Instructor provides tips, tricks and advice while the learners work on their project.
This course is designed for the advanced beginner, learner should have mastered beginner sewing skills. Learner should know the basic operations of their sewing machine, pattern cutting, and basic stitches.
A learner at this level is demonstrating that they enjoy sewing and wish to improve their skills.
Most sewing projects will require minimum supplies and we try to keep supply costs under $5 per project. A sewing machine and basic sewing supplies are needed.
At the conclusion of each meeting, learners will decide on what project they would like to do at the next meeting.
Socialization is highly encouraged throughout the meeting & learners are asked to leave their cameras on and socialize.
The teaching style is casual with lots of fun and laughs!

Hello! My name is Ms Lauren Kimberly Iseley and I live in Oklahoma, USA. I am a mother of a 22 year old and a 15 year old. I home schooled both of my children from kindergarten to college. I love teaching and I am known for being very patient and encouraging.

I hold a degree in Accounting and a degree in Business Administration (Quantitative Analysis).

I really enjoy crafting and being super-creative! Creativity helps expand our minds and helps us solve everyday problems with "out of the box" solutions. Creativity is something that needs to be nurtured in every child.

I also teach math. If your student is struggling in math, it is most likely because they aren't having fun learning! Consider this....you can remember the words to a song but you can't remember basic math calculations. That is because the songs were set to music and your brain associated the song with fun....I teach math based on this principle.

I am an award-winning cake artist and love crafting and baking. I am excited to get to know your student and help them achieve their goals!
