Class Experience
This class meets 55 minutes per day for 4 weeks. We will be using a sewing machine to make clothing for an 18" doll. You'll learn to mix and match fabric to create unique and fun outfits. Socialization is highly encouraged and students are asked to keep their cameras and microphones on. We'll chat about sewing and dolls. Week 1Lesson 1The Circle SkirtLet's kick off our sewing adventure by making a circle skirt for your doll. Bring your doll to class. A free pattern will be provided. Please cut out the pattern before class. During class, you will sew along with your instructor, going step-by-step to create a circle skirt for your doll. This is a good introduction to the basic circle skirt. As a bonus, a free pattern will also be provided so you can make a matching circle skirt for yourself!Week 2Lesson 2Jumper DressDesign and sew a jumper dress! A free pattern will be provided, please cut out your fabric before class. You will sew along with your instructor. We will go step by step and you can stop and ask questions at any time.Week 3Lesson 3Finish Jumper Dress and Add EmbellishmentsWe will continue working on the jumper dress. We will go step by step, creating the top section of the dress and adding designer finishing touches. If we have time, we will finish class with a dress-your-doll party!

Learner should be familiar with their sewing machine. They should be able to thread the machine and wind a bobbin.
A supply list will be provided in the classroom. A sewing machine is needed.
We will be using scissors, seam rippers, needles and other sharp tools. We will be operating a sewing machine. Please supervise as needed.
