You've been practicing your sewing skills so now let's make some matching clothes for girl and doll.
Class experience
In this class we will work together to sew matching dresses for ourselves and our 18" dolls. Prior to beginning class students must already be comfortable with their sewing machine and able to sew straight lines and buttonholes.. Day 1: Measuring size - assistance would be good this day as we measure ourselves and figure out which size we are and how much fabric we need. Instructor will be assisted by daughter. Day 2: Picking your fabric - we will discuss types of fabric and what fabrics...
Students will have a better understanding of fabrics, patterns (and instructions) and basic sewing methods including creating a good fit of human clothing.
Homework Offered
Homework for this class varies by class. Students will need to finish the day's assignments and make sure they have the tools and materials prepared for the next day.1 - 2 hours per week outside of class

Learners will not need to use any apps or websites beyond the standard Outschool tools.
Students will need to have access to a working sewing machine for this class. The instructor will be using an older version of this machine: https://amzn.to/2XtCcsY Students are responsible for knowing how to turn on, and thread their spacific machine prior to beginning class. If you need help with these steps often craft store employees (who you can meet with personally) and/or youtube videos are of great assistance. Please let the instructor know prior to class if you are still struggling and we will find a way to help.
