3 in-class hoursClass Experience
In this class, students will use Butterick pattern B6654 to sew a wrap dress. I will walk students through how to read a pattern, cut pieces for the pattern, and how to sew each step. In the first class, we will read the pattern and talk about any concepts the students are unfamiliar with. We will also cut all of the pieces for the pattern. In the second class, we will sew the dress together step by step. I will answer questions as students encounter problems. I always encourage students to ask questions throughout class. My goal is to make all of the students feel comfortable and competent at sewing. Prior to class, students should feel comfortable operating their sewing machine. They should know how to thread the machine an change stitch length. This is an easy pattern so it is appropriate for beginners who have some experience with sewing.
